Hearts and Hands Christian Preschool centers have several levels of supervision to ensure quality and safety. Each center is led by a qualified director who has served at least three years in preschool ministries and who is accredited at the director level by the state licensing board of California.
Each director is supervised by the HH Superintendent of Schools. The Superintendent makes unscheduled inspections on at least a monthly basis at each site and grades the overall appearance and performance of the center. These reports are reviewed with the director to increase the quality of safety and care we provide. (Download site report.) These inspections are in addition to the annual inspections of the state licensing board of California.
The Superintendent also oversees the “mystery shopper” program. An outside research firm sends employees unannounced posing as interested parents or grandparents to each HH center. These “mystery shoppers” complete a visit report that details what they saw and heard at the site. This is viewed by the Superintendent and the director and used as a teaching tool to improve our schools. This occurs at least monthly at each center. (Download mystery shopper report.)
The Superintendent is supervised by the Executive Director of Missions. The Executive Director of Missions is supervised by the governing board of the non-profit organization. These levels of supervision provide added protection and a quality experience for your child.
