Frequently Asked Questions
About Our Program
Hours of Operation: Our doors are open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, so you have flexibility in your schedule!
Ages We Serve: We welcome children from 2 years old to the exciting adventure of 1st grade.
Schedules & Tuition: We offer full-time and part-time options to meet your family's needs. Tuition varies by location, so just check the site you're interested in. There's also an annual registration fee of $195.
Financial Assistance: We gladly accept approved subsidized programs, but we don't offer scholarships now.
Health & Safety
Closures: We take 14 days off throughout the year, which includes major holidays and time for our teachers to recharge. Check the FAQ list for the specific dates!
Sickness Policy: We're committed to keeping all our little ones healthy! If your child is unwell, please keep them home until they feel better. Our detailed sickness policy is available for your reference.
Your Child's Day
Lunch & Snacks: We provide three yummy and nutritious snacks daily, but please pack a lunch for your child.
Nap Time: After lunch, it's time for a peaceful nap from 12:30 pm to 2:45 pm.
Rest Time for Non-Nappers: Even if your child doesn't nap, we encourage a quiet rest time with activities like coloring, books, or puzzles.
Potty Training & Ratios
Potty Training: No worries if your child isn't potty trained yet! We're happy to help with the process. There's no additional fee, and it's a team effort between parents and teachers.
Child-to-Teacher Ratio: We maintain the state-standard ratio of 12:1 to ensure each child receives plenty of attention and care.
Guidance & Support
Crying Children: We understand that starting a new school or experiencing new situations can bring big emotions. We provide comfort, help children understand their feelings, and ensure they feel safe and loved. If a child is particularly distressed, we'll contact you.
Illness & Injuries: If your child becomes ill at school, we'll call you and isolate them until you can pick them up. We'll contact you for injuries beyond minor cuts or scrapes and create a plan together.
Discipline Policy: We believe in positive guidance and never use corporal punishment. Unacceptable behavior is addressed in an age-appropriate way, often using "thinking time" to help children understand and make better choices.
Additional Information
Disenrollment: If you need to disenroll your child, we require a two-week written notice to the Site Director. Please see our Discontinuation of Services policy for more information.
Tuition & Absences: Tuition is due regardless of absences, including those due to sickness or holidays.
Our Approach to Learning
Teaching Philosophy: We're a Bible-based preschool with an academic structure. We offer circle time, age-appropriate academics, art, science, Bible lessons, and plenty of indoor and outdoor play.
Christian Values: As a Christian school, we incorporate Bible lessons, songs, and prayer into our daily routine. We use materials from ACSI (Associated Christian Schools International), which are simplified for young learners and focus on foundational morals and values.
Open to All: While we're a Christian school, your family doesn't need to be Christian to attend. We welcome everyone, but we also want you to know that we won't remove any Bible teaching or Christian aspects from our program.
